Important for singleplayer mode! Bots have problems in 10th Anniversary without the Add-On to build harbors on the sandy peninsulas. Because if an empty harbour field is in your area it cannot be anchored by your ship.
On the other hand for Multiplayer it should work well with vanilla 10th Anniversary, there wouldn't be any stupid bots then .
