The "Use: Extract both files in the "..\My documents\S2\maps" folder" part was meant for my rar-file which I posted on the official S2TNG forums and some minor gaming forums.
Get the official game-preview screenshot at http://home.casema.nl/tseor/NewAustralia.bmp and put em with the mapfile in the maps folder.
