Ah, well... I did some research...
The council, being very organised as councils are in England * - sarcasm*, keeps a record of all their public toilet locations on their Property Services website - of all the places!
http://www.north-ayrshire.gov....mentRelated/public-toilets.pdf
(No.10 on the list, for anyone bored enough to be following this thread and for some reason interested in Scottish toilets.)
I was amazed to see that it is still listed, after four years I thought it would have been taken away as a source of 'noise pollution'
In answer to your question though... hmmm, okay, maybe not that bad

"The most terrifying toilet I have ever known was on the Isle of Arran "
Was it worse than the toilet in the movie "Trainspotting" ?
(-> was supposed to be the most terrifying toilet of scotland AND everywhere)

Damit ist das Rätsel gelöst, warum die Schotten ein Doppelkinn haben.
Weil sie beim pinkeln den Rock unter ihr Kinn klemmen.

The most terrifying toilet I have ever known was on the Isle of Arran (in Scotland)... one of those bizarre ones where someone gets out and then it cleans itself...
Every time someone got out, the ground shook and it made a noise something like the horn on a ship

So viele Beschwerden über falsche Toiletteneinrichtungen gibt es nirgendswo sonst!
