The tyrant Maxillius put the report aside: "Capture the renegades, the heretics who dared to defy my orders!"

For decades practicing any kind of religion was strictly forbidden on the island of the four nations. Initially the decision of the council of the eldest seemed to make sense to keep the constantly growing conflicts between the nations at a low level. As the space for living became rare and rarer the rivalry increased, and everything was tried to keep the trenches between the nations as shallow as possible.

But then Maxillius forced the destiny of the four nations under his tyranny, and with merciless cruelty he acted against all those who did not follow his orders. There were rumours saying that Maxillius used the skills of the priests in secret to consolidate his own power.

The resentment on the Island was growing ?.


Young Claudius looked into the sorrowful and haggard face of his father who laid on the deathbed and he listened to his last words: "Promise me to keep the old traditions of our people and let them not be buried in oblivion.
Listen, together with my brother Wingetus I started to grow wine in the mountains in a remote area of our island. In this book that I give to your hands it is described how you can win back the favour of our gods to help you in the fight against the tyranny of our people.
Use this book wisely, as only with the help of our gods you can liberate our nation from servitude.
But take care, should Maxillius learn about our plan he will not rest until he has sent his bloodhounds to destroy everything we have built up over troublesome years.
