Multiplayer scripts

Hi!

I need help. Is there possible to use briefings in multiplayer map.
I'm thinking about multiplayer Co-op quest. What happens when player 1 meets NPC. Does player 2 see text too?

I think NPC interactions are synchronized (there is a GameCallback) but to be sure you have to test it.
If you really want to make asynchrone briefings you can use GUI.GetPlayerID() and compare it with the player of the hero talking to the NPC.
As briefings are only GUI+Camera (if you don't use finished or action functions or explore/quest...) this should not cause a desync.

But for a questmap you will most likely need a way to synchronize function calls. This can be done with tributes (but is limited to calls without parameters) or a comfort like mcbMPSyncer.
