Schöner Start in die Quadrologie

Hallo!
Keine Ahnung!
Liebe Grüße
Anne

Nice start to the Quadrologie
Hello!
The beginning was very good and interesting. I was much too slow again and was thrown out of the game for two times. But then I managed to keep at least part of the ramp. So I was able to recover, win back the towers occupied by the enemy and finish the ramp. Two bugports in the north provided for the replenishment, especially the supply of coal soon became urgent. The opponents were quite good at defeating themselves after they had come along . The purple tower, which divided the ramp, I left as a brake for too eager carriers. Unfortunately I had permanent FEs in the last third, I saved every 5 to 10 minutes, so I could remember what I had to do again. What caused them? No idea!
Dear Greetings
Anne

Hi Anne,

I do not know what causes those FE's. I did not have any until the final map (Pt.4) and I play my maps maybe 7 or 8 times before uploading. I changed the beginning soldier allotment in Pt 4 and then I had no FE. That seemed to work. Sometimes I think it is too many soldiers in one spot unable to move, and sometimes I am almost certain that it has something to do with harbours and ships but obviously I should not think too much.

I'm glad you liked the first part and I am sorry that you had FE's. I hate those! I have read that they are making a more stable version of Settlers IV to come out this year .... but I do not know if this is true. It would be nice.

Thanks for commenting. Greetings!

I'm also looking forward to it, but we must wait till spring 2019. I hope they solve the black-ground-problem.

It appears to be a compilation called Settlers 7, rather than a fix for settlers 4? And I thought it was to be out November this year.

Can I live with 8 more months of random FE's??

YES, because it is Settlers! I do not have a lot of these FE"s since I started using Win 7 (Yes I am catching up to windos 10 eventually) Only a very small amount. I run it on a alcohol 125% virtual drive which seems to be more stable than earlier disks

I've just read: Release date "The Settlers": Autumn 2019 for PC.
Or do you say fall instead of autumn?

Hi soupdock,

because my way of playing is not the fastest, I've been trimmed.
(a settler wall)
could then build a ramp in peace.
After that, the opponents could come.
It was fun and after five hours the game was won.

@ Respect Anne ... had time problems at the beginning to build the
second settlement

Then I would know if soupduck like the Queen speaks or more like Trump!

I will improve myself!

I am not working for blue byte but I read November 2018. Autumn or fall is two words for the same thing. The 'actual' release date seems dubious at this time.

... I am Canadian. Any requests for marriage would have to pass through the Canadian consulate. I speak more like Deepak Chopra.

Hi Geologe,

I am happy to hear that you did not have an FE. The game is so much more fun then. I am glad that you won and enjoyed the map.

Are you married to Anne?

I know, I am just joking as a settler might converse with another while building a house.

LG

How long is a long time? I am expecting wedding gifts since you forgot to send them on the appropriate date of this mystery.

Herrlich!!!!

Tolle Map.

Hello Nostradamus,

You are welcome. I am happy that you like the map.

A small hint or tip that helps ... A donkey cart can be built in the north and then placed on the ship. This gives you settlers and materials to start. And some travelling pios as well as a soldier or two can also travel.

In the beginning I also made diggers (pioneer?) to expand and join the two northern areas.

That seemed to be my quickest strategy.

Settlers are a very amusing group.
